The apartment is in a GREAT location as it is less than 2 miles from the Kemah Boardwalk. Enjoy a spacious, relaxing and stylish experience within The Onyx Abode.
During the evening, you can turn on the soft lights on the patio with a glass of wine. It is the perfect couples retreat with enough room for the kids. It’s also perfect for the girls or boys trip so you can relax and have a great time. The Onyx Abode offers plenty of room for the kids with a Queen-sized sofa bed so everyone can enjoy the outstanding accommodations. We recently added a new gaming console in the guest room. This console is connected to the TV much like a firestick. Once you access the appropriate HMDI input on the TV then you can play over 20,000 Arcade Games from the 70’s through the 90’s from all over the world. The Onyx Abode also has a Roku Smart TV in every room.
It is also the perfect location for Traveling Nurses since The Onyx Abode is located in close proximity to several local Medical Centers. You will be able to spread out and enjoy the awesome amenities that The Onyx Abode has to offer. Why not leave the city behind for a moment and enjoy a new relaxing experience at The Onyx Abode.

Early Check-in Service is available upon request. There is an additional cost for Early Check-in Service. Early Check-in Service is not guaranteed as it depends upon availability, based upon your specific reservation. Early Check-in Service is only available from 9 AM until your current standard check-in time of 4 PM on your specific Check-in Date. If you need Early Check-in Service before 9 AM then please reach out to Surrounding Stays as the cost will vary based upon your approximate time of arrival, or Surrounding Stays may offer other options. You must receive prior authorization for Early Check-in Service, either with payment to Surrounding Stays, or clear written authorization from Surrounding Stays.
Pets are allowed , however each pet cannot weigh more than 25 lbs. Only 2 pets are allowed per reservation. This is a pet friendly community with a community pet park. It also features a state-of-the-art Pet Center equipped with a Pet Spa, multiple wash stations, grooming, and a variety of services. There is a pet deposit fee. If you have a pet and plan to stay beyond 28 days you will need to contact Surrounding Stays with regard to the pet fee amount.
Certain dog breeds are restricted:

*Doberman
*Rottweiler
*Pit bull
*Chow
*Bull Mastiff
*Wolf-dog hybrid
*Great Dane
*St Bernard
Any other dog breeds restricted by applicable law or regulation.

We like to provide a safe haven for your furry friend(s) as they Deserve to Relax and be Comfortable too.
Note: Surrounding Stays will provide a certain amount of complementary toiletry items for each reservation to start your stay. We may not provide enough toiletries like, tissue, paper towels, body wash, bleach, detergent, toothpaste, etc. as this is based upon your specific consumption of these items. Restocking of these item shall not be provided after the start of your stay as they must be acquired by the guest.

Strict no loitering policy. You shall not loiter on the apartment complex grounds nor near the apartment door, hallways or stairways. Loitering around or near the apartment is strictly prohibited.
You must receive prior authorization for Early Check-in Service, either with payment to Surrounding Stays or clear written authorization from Surrounding Stays.
ALL guests expected to stay in the property MUST be listed on the reservation. If you have not included all guests on your current reservation, it is imperative that you create a Change Reservation request to add the additional guests.
Pets are allowed , however each pet cannot weigh more than 25 lbs. Only 2 pets are allowed per reservation. The pet fee is $175.00 per pet. If you have a pet and plan to stay beyond 28 days you will need to contact Surrounding Stays with regard to the pet fee amount. All pets MUST be pre-authorized by Surrounding Stays.
Strict no smoking or vaping indoors policy including the balcony / patio. Smoking on the complex property is strictly prohibited. Unfortunately, if you want / need to smoke / vape, it must be outside of the complex grounds.
Strict no illegal substances or paraphernalia of any kind are allowed on the community complex premises and / or within the apartment.
We kindly ask that you wipe your shoes on the mat before entering the apartment, and remove your shoes and place them on the shoe rack before walking on the floor / carpet. (Note: Slippers are recommended.) This is only meant to preserve the flooring / carpet within the Onyx Abode for future guests to ENJOY. (If there is no carpet throughout the "entire" apartment then you can disregard this rule.)
Make sure that you follow any and all community rules, signs, and / or placards posted throughout the community.
Make sure that you keep your mobile charged during your stay as your phone will be utilized to open all gates and doors within the community complex. Also make sure that you save the access code for the front door located within the Latch App just in case your mobile phone is inoperable.
This community is a tranquil and quiet community. Please be mindful of the other residents and / or guest(s). Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM so ensure that you are more mindful to keep noise levels to minimum during these hours.
Pool hours are from 10 AM to 10 PM (No Exceptions). Make sure that you follow all community rules, signs and / or placards posted at the pool area. Jumping the fence, loud music, smoking, having parties are strictly prohibited in the pool area. Any Glass Cups and / or Glassware are strictly prohibited from the pool area for your safety. We provided several plastic cups to be used in the pool area, but please make sure to return them to the apartment.
Upon booking, you shall accept that daily housekeeping service is not normally provided. However, we do provide a cleaning service during your stay for an additional cost. Each cleaning during your stay will be equivalent to the normal cleaning fee. It is the guests responsibility to maintain the property in a clean and sanitary manner while in use. It is also the guests responsibility to leave the premises / property in the same condition as when the guest checked-in with the exception of normal use within the guidelines of the above House Rules.
